Telangana Ration Card 2021

Telangana Govt. issues food security cards only to the eligible households who fulfills all the conditions as prescribed. Ration cards are generally issued according to the economic status of the citizens. Therefore, one who wishes to avail ration services in the Telangana state needs to have a valid ration card and before that he/she should fulfill the eligibility requirements in order to apply.

TS ration card is a food security card provided by the state government. Ration card in the state of Telangana is an official document that is issued by the Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Telangana to eligible citizens of the state so that can they purchase essentials commodities and civil supplies at subsidized rates. These civil supplies basically include Wheat, rice, sugar, pulses, kerosene, etc. for the state.

Types of Food Security Cards Issued in Telangana

Ration cards in the state are issued under three major categories and these categories are-

  1. AFSC
  2. Antyodaya Anna Yojana Cards
  3. FSC cards

The colour of each type of ration card in Telangana State is different.

TS Ration Card 2021 Eligibility

Only eligible candidates will be issued food security cards or ration cards. Check the eligibility requirements given as under-          

  1. The applicants should be a resident of Telangana.     
  2. The applicant should not already bear Telangana Good Security (FSC) or Ration card.
  3. Applicant should belong to poor or economically weaker sections of the society
  4. Newly married couples can also apply for a ration card.
  5. Citizens having temporary cards or expired ration cards can also apply for a new ration card.   

Documents for Telangana Ration Card Application

Those who wish to submit an application for the issue of the new ration card need to submit original documents along with the application form. These documents include-

  1. A copy of the original state resident proof i.e. Telangana State Domicile.
  2. A copy of the Aadhaar card.
  3. Passport size photograph of the applicant.

Application Fee for issue of New FSC

To get a new FSC in Telangana, citizens have to submit an application and they also pay an application fee. All the applicants are required to pay a nominal fee of Rs. 30/- to Rs.30/-.

Time Limit for Issuance of Ration Card

Ration card is issued by the government authority and the processing takes a few days as various processes are involved in it. TS FSC cards are issued generally in 30 days from the date of application.  

Search Telangana Ration Card/FSC

For FSC Search

  1. Visit the Telangana epds portal.
  2. Click the “FSC Search” tab.
  3. Search ration card by using any of the following options- By FSC Reference No., Ration Card No., Old Ration Card No., and District.
  4. After entering the required details proceed to search.
  5.  Finally, FSC details will appear.
  6. Save the details

For FSC Application Search –

  1. Visit epds portal.
  2. Click “FSC Search” tab.
  3. Click on “FSC Application Search” tab.
  4. Select district and Search by MeeSeva No., Application No. or Mobile No. and click on “Search” button.
  5. FSC application status will appear on the screen.

Citizens can check ts ration card list village wise or district-wise FSC card status report by following the given procedure-

  1. Visit the Telangana epds portal.
  2. Click on “Reports” Tab. Click on the “Ration CardReports” tab and hit the “FSC Card Status Report” menu from the dropdown list.
  3. Select your District.
  4. Select respect Shop No.
  5. The list of all the ration cards under the selected shop will appear.
  6. Check your ration card status.

    How to Apply for Telangana Ration Card Online?

    Fill Details

    Attach Documents

    After filling the necessary information, applicants have to attach all required documents with the application form. Now, they have to submit the application form along with the prescribed fee at the MeeSeva Center. After submitting the application form, you have to take the acknowledgment slip from the concerned official. This slip will be used for further references.
